  David J. Mistick has more than 30-years of experience in property management, construction, disaster planning and recovery. Co-author of "Before Disaster Strikes – Developing the Emergency Procedures Plan," published by the Institute of Real Estate Management. David has been recognized nationally by the Restoration Industry Association for his innovative "fast-track" restoration processes. He has managed and consulted on disasters throughout the United States. David is a Certified Property Manager and a Certified Business Resilience Manager. He speaks regularly at restoration and insurance industry events and is an accredited Continuing Education instructor in five states.
     
  Debbie Mistick brings more than 27-years of experience in property management with specialty expertise in multi-family and special needs housing. Educated as a teacher, Debbie utilized her skills by being a national faculty member for the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is also a Certified Property Manager and past president of IREM’s Pittsburgh chapter.

As a manager of special needs housing, Debbie discovered first-hand the need for comprehensive disaster planning. In her career she handled fires, flooding, psychiatric emergencies, elevator emergencies, sump pump failures, lead paint issues, and almost anything else that could go wrong in a residential building. She also helped create her company's first paper disaster plan; an experience in which Circumspex™ has many of its roots.
     
  John Kunert is a recently retired U.S. Navy Captain from the Naval War College where he served as the Director of the War Gaming Department. In this capacity, he oversaw the planning and execution of numerous gaming events that served the Department of Defense, Homeland Security and individual state entities. He also served as the Senior U.S. Military Representative to the NATO Defense College in Rome, Italy where he engaged in the strategic level planning of NATO’s emerging role in the post Cold War era. In his naval operational experience, John was a Surface Warfare Officer with extensive experience in frigates, carriers and operational staffs. He commanded USS KAUFFMAN (FFG-59), a guided missile frigate, conducting extensive operations in the Caribbean and South American areas of operations. A veteran of over 26 years of active duty, he has made numerous deployments to the Middle East, Mediterranean and North Atlantic. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal and numerous unit and campaign citations.

John is a 1979 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he studied economics and received his Bachelor of Science degree. He received has Masters of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 1999. 
     
  Jim Wills brings over 25 years of restoration and pre-loss disaster planning experience to Circumspex™. He is a Certified Continuity Manager and has been the Director of Commercial Loss Solutions for two of North America's largest restoration and recovery organizations. Committed to the importance of disaster planning, he has established pre-loss agreements with many industry groups, including but not limited to hospitality, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and educational institutions. Jim has worked on disaster sites like the Chicago Financial District flood in 1992 and the Midwest floods in 1993, and also managed the restoration efforts at the Pentagon after the September 11 terrorist attacks. More recently he has been responsible for coordinating and triaging losses for clients during the hurricanes in 2004, 2005, and 2008. He has also provided consulting services for major insurance companies after some of the nation's worst natural disasters.

Jim has been an instructor for many insurance companies, providing adjuster training classes and continuing education classes. He has also been a featured speaker for the Property Loss Research Bureau Convention, National Assocation of Insurance Women, Chartered Propery Casualty Underwriter, Risk and Insurance Management Society Inc., and other insurance and trade organizations.
